This session will explore several strategies states are currently considering to improve access to health care, lower costs and increase overall efficiency. Topics discussed will include scope of practice, licensing and regulation; current uses of telemedicine as well as its potential to cost effectively expand the reach of health care professionals; and expanding the dental profession to include midlevel providers.
